At the 2022 AOR Conference in Bend, we were asked to present our thoughts and observations about bulky waste to some of the best in the business—and walked away with a Sustainable Oregon Award for our part in a successful collaborative pilot program. In partnership with Trash for Peace and the City of Gresham, we offered hundreds of East Portland families a free, easy way to clear out clutter while keeping perfectly good materials in circulation instead of in the landfill.

Frog & Toad remains engaged with AOR and is presenting again in 2026 to highlight work on bulky waste removal in multifamily and low-income housing.
