This seasonal public drop-off program provided Portland residents with a responsible way to dispose of bulky waste while maximizing diversion opportunities. We assisted in sorting materials onsite, directing items toward donation partners, repair programs, and recycling streams rather than the landfill, and we partnered with the city to haul off and redistribute reusable materials. These events made waste reduction accessible and practical at the neighborhood level. In 2025, the program ended, but we continue to support efforts to make reuse and waste management more accessible.
